AI Visibility Pricing Benchmark 2026: What 12 GEO & AI SEO Providers Actually Charge

Citedly AI visibility pricing benchmark showing a 152-times gap between $99, $1,750 median and $15,000 monthly GEO provider prices

Citedly Research: How We Analyzed the Market

Citedly started with the provider set from our internal 2026 competitor research and retained only companies that publicly describe an AI-search capability: AI SEO, GEO, AEO, LLM optimization, AI visibility tracking or an equivalent service.

We then re-checked provider-published pricing and service pages in September 2026 where a current public source was available. We treated a price as 'public' only when a buyer could find a usable starting figure, fixed package, hourly rate or one-time audit price without first requesting a proposal. When a company publishes a general market estimate but not a clear price for its own service, we label its own pricing as custom.

The sample is intentionally not presented as a universal market census. It is a practical benchmark of 12 providers we had already researched in depth, spanning low-cost managed services, SaaS-focused content programs, ecommerce specialists, SEO+GEO agencies and enterprise AI-search consultancies.

Citedly 2026 Benchmark Finding Result
Providers analyzed 12
Providers with a usable public starting price/rate 8 of 12 (66.7%)
Providers requiring custom pricing / no clear own-service rate 4 of 12 (33.3%)
Lowest public monthly starting point in the sample $99/month
Highest clear public monthly starting point in the sample $15,000/month
Median of 6 comparable published USD monthly starting prices $1,750/month
Spread between the lowest and highest comparable monthly entry point 152x

AI SEO & GEO Pricing: 12 Providers Compared

The table below uses the clearest public pricing we could verify. Where pricing is not published, we say so rather than substituting a directory estimate. Several providers sell broader SEO packages that include AI-search work, so the 'price model' column matters as much as the number.

Provider Model Public Pricing What the Price Appears to Cover
SEOValley SEO + GEO agency Custom / quote GEO research, up to 50 topics/questions, AI-readable restructuring, technical SEO, authority and monitoring
PikaSEO SaaS SEO + GEO hybrid $299 one-time DIY; $999/mo DWY; $2,497 one-time DFY (3 months) Keyword + competitor research, comparison/alternative content, publishing and ongoing optimization
Embarque SEO + AI SEO service $1,500 / $2,800 / $5,200 / $10,000 per month AI SEO strategy included; content, links, Reddit/local options and account support scale by tier
Ranked.ai Managed SEO + AI visibility $99 / $198 / $349 per month Managed content, backlinks, on-page work, prompt tracking, AI visibility tracking and software
Boulder SEO Marketing SEO + GEO agency $2,000 / $3,000 / $4,000 per month GEO, AI agent, technical SEO, GBP, expert placements, content and reporting
Directive B2B GEO / LLM SEO Custom for agency engagement LLM audit, content architecture, entity/authority building and pipeline-tied measurement
1Digital Agency eCommerce AI SEO / AEO / GEO $185/hour, 3-month minimum for AI SEO; broader SEO packages $899-$5,999/mo AI crawler access, entity work, answer-first content, schema, Share of Model and ecommerce optimization
Siege Media Content-led GEO Custom / unpublished GEO strategy, BOFU content, proprietary research, digital PR, citation graph and LLM share-of-voice reporting
iPullRank Enterprise AI Search / GEO AI Search Strategy from $15,000/month Enterprise AI search strategy, content/omnimedia audit, measurement and revenue-influence planning
First Page Sage GEO / AEO Own-service pricing custom; publishes market tiers of $2K-$12K/mo List/database visibility, reputation, PR, SEO authority and chatbot recommendation strategy
Omniscient Digital B2B SaaS SEO + GEO Full-service from $10,000/month Citation/competitor analysis, technical GEO, roadmap, content, mentions and ongoing LLM monitoring
Blogtec SEO + GEO outsourcing $340 one-time SEO & GEO audit; managed SEO from ~€500/mo SEO/GEO audit, technical SEO, content optimization, managed SEO and flexible execution

What Citedly Found in the Pricing Data

1. There Is No Single 'GEO Market Rate'

The 152x spread between the lowest and highest directly comparable monthly entry points is not evidence that one agency is wildly overpriced. It is evidence that the market has not standardized the product.

Ranked.ai starts at $99/month and combines managed SEO work with prompt and AI-visibility tracking. At the other end, iPullRank's AI Search Strategy starts at $15,000/month and is built for enterprise teams measuring AI search against demand, pipeline and revenue. Those are different operating models, team structures and accountability levels.

2. The Middle of the Market Is Mostly SEO + GEO, Not GEO Alone

The clearest mid-market offers in this sample bundle generative-search work into a broader organic growth program. Embarque includes AI SEO strategy in packages starting at $1,500/month. Boulder SEO Marketing starts at $2,000/month and combines GEO with technical SEO, content, local optimization, expert placements and reporting.

For many buyers, that bundling is rational. AI visibility still depends heavily on crawlability, entity clarity, content quality, authority and third-party evidence, so separating 'GEO' from the rest of organic search can create implementation gaps.

3. SaaS and Content-Led Offers Often Price Around Production Ownership

PikaSEO is a good example of how ownership changes the price. A buyer can purchase a one-time DIY blueprint, move into a $999/month done-with-you program, or buy a three-month done-for-you execution package. The price difference is less about the acronym GEO and more about who owns the research, writing, publishing and iteration.

4. Enterprise GEO Is Becoming a Strategy + Measurement Product

At the enterprise end, providers increasingly sell AI-search visibility as a measurement and revenue-influence problem rather than a content-only service. iPullRank explicitly prices its AI Search Strategy from $15,000/month. Omniscient Digital starts full-service engagements at $10,000/month and includes technical analysis, citation research, content production, brand-mention work and ongoing monitoring.

Directive does not publish a clean rate for its LLM SEO/GEO agency engagement, but its current service pages position the work around audits, LLM-ready content architecture, entity and authority building, and pipeline-tied measurement. This is materially different from a low-cost prompt tracker or content package.

5. 'Public Pricing' Can Still Hide a Scope Mismatch

1Digital publicly states that AI SEO engagements start at $185/hour with a three-month minimum, while its broader monthly SEO packages range from $899 to $5,999. Blogtec publishes a $340 one-time SEO & GEO audit and lower-cost managed SEO entry points. Those numbers are transparent, but neither should be compared directly with an enterprise retainer without adjusting for hours, implementation and off-site work.

“When someone asks ‘How much should GEO cost?’ the better question is ‘What has to change for my brand to become more visible in AI answers, and who is responsible for changing it?’ If the provider only measures visibility but does not execute content, technical fixes or authority work, the lower price may simply mean you are buying the diagnosis rather than the treatment.”

Provider-by-Provider Pricing Notes

SEOValley

SEOValley — SEOValley now markets a dedicated GEO service covering ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Perplexity. Its public process includes brand/AI testing, up to 50 topics and questions, content restructuring, technical cleanup, external authority and ongoing visibility tracking. We could verify the service, but not a current public GEO rate, so buyers should treat it as quote-based rather than relying on older SEO-package numbers.

PikaSEO

PikaSEO — PikaSEO publishes one of the clearest ownership ladders in the market: a $299 one-time DIY offer, a $999/month done-with-you plan and a $2,497 one-time done-for-you three-month program. It is particularly relevant for SaaS teams because the service emphasizes comparison, alternative and other high-intent content rather than a purely technical GEO audit.

Embarque

Embarque — Embarque's public plans start at $1,500/month and scale to $10,000/month. AI SEO strategy is included across the plan structure, but the buyer is fundamentally purchasing a broader organic-growth engine: content, backlinks, local SEO, Reddit marketing and optimization capacity depending on the tier.

Ranked.ai

Ranked.ai — Ranked.ai is the lowest published monthly entry point in this sample at $99/month, with $198 and $349 tiers above it. The service is notable because it combines managed SEO execution with prompt tracking and AI visibility software. That makes it inexpensive, but also a very different product from an enterprise GEO consultancy.

Boulder SEO Marketing

Boulder SEO Marketing — Boulder publishes $2,000, $3,000 and $4,000 monthly tiers. All tiers include its baseline SEO and GEO services, with more dedicated hours at higher levels. Public deliverables include a custom AI agent, GEO/AI search optimization, technical SEO, GBP work, expert quote placements, content and reporting.

Directive

Directive — Directive has a dedicated B2B LLM SEO/GEO capability but does not publish a clean starting rate for that agency engagement. Its offer is oriented toward B2B technology companies and connects LLM visibility to pipeline through audit, content architecture, entity/authority building and measurement. This is a quote-before-buying model.

1Digital Agency

1Digital Agency — 1Digital is ecommerce-specific and publishes an AI SEO starting rate of $185/hour with a three-month minimum. Its broader SEO packages run from $899 to $5,999/month. The AI program emphasizes entity disambiguation, AI crawler accessibility, Share of Model tracking, schema and ecommerce/agentic-commerce visibility.

Siege Media

Siege Media — Siege Media does not publish a GEO retainer on its current service page. Its model is content and authority heavy: proprietary research, BOFU content, digital PR, publisher/community visibility, citation tracking and LLM share of voice. Buyers should expect a custom scope rather than a fixed self-serve tier.

iPullRank

iPullRank — iPullRank publishes the clearest enterprise floor in this set: its AI Search Strategy starts at $15,000/month. The offer is aimed at CMOs and enterprise teams that need AI visibility tied to demand, pipeline and revenue, with audit, content/omnimedia planning and AI-search measurement built into the strategy.

First Page Sage

First Page Sage — First Page Sage offers GEO/AEO services but does not publish a simple rate card for its own engagement. It does publish a separate GEO cost model showing market tiers from $2,000-$3,000, $4,000-$7,000 and $8,000-$12,000 per month. We treat those as provider-authored market guidance, not as a guaranteed First Page Sage quote.

Omniscient Digital

Omniscient Digital — Omniscient Digital states that full-service engagements start at $10,000/month. Its GEO work includes current-state analysis, citation and competitor analysis, technical GEO, roadmap development, content production, brand-mention growth and ongoing LLM monitoring. The positioning is clearly B2B SaaS and pipeline oriented.

Blogtec

Blogtec — Blogtec sits at the lower-cost execution end. It publishes a $340 one-time SEO & GEO audit, while managed SEO starts around €500/month on its current main pricing page. The company also sells modular technical and content optimization services, making it more of a flexible outsourcing model than a dedicated enterprise GEO program.

Why Citedly Built This Pricing Benchmark

We originally researched these companies while building Citedly and later used part of that research in our comparison of AI SEO services. The pricing question kept resurfacing because buyers were seeing offers that all used the words AI SEO, GEO or AEO but looked nothing alike once the scope was opened.

If you want the provider-by-provider service comparison, see our Best AI SEO Services in 2026. This report has a narrower purpose: what does the market actually charge, what is included at each price level, and which numbers are genuinely comparable?

We also keep a broader guide to how much GEO costs. That page explains the economics of GEO generally. This benchmark focuses on named providers and their public 2026 offers so buyers can compare real examples.

The 5 Pricing Models Hiding Under 'AI Visibility'

The most useful way to understand this market is not by agency name but by what the buyer is actually purchasing.

1. Audit / Diagnostic

A one-time analysis of crawlability, content, prompt visibility, competitors or entity gaps. Useful when you have an internal team that can implement the findings. Blogtec's SEO & GEO audit is a clear example.

2. DIY or Done-With-You Content Engine

Research, briefs, strategy and varying levels of publishing support. The buyer still owns part of execution. PikaSEO's ownership ladder fits this model.

3. Managed SEO + AI Visibility

Traditional organic execution plus prompt tracking, AI visibility and AI-readable content. Ranked.ai, Embarque and Boulder sit in different price bands inside this model.

4. Full-Service GEO / Authority Program

Content, technical SEO, third-party mentions, digital PR, comparison/BOFU assets and AI visibility measurement managed as one system. Siege, Omniscient and similar firms fit here.

5. Enterprise AI Search Strategy

Senior consulting, measurement architecture, enterprise content systems, omnimedia planning and revenue influence. iPullRank is the clearest priced example in this sample.

What Should You Budget for AI Visibility in 2026?

The benchmark suggests a more useful budgeting framework than one universal average. The ranges below are not guarantees; they are decision bands based on the provider models in this sample.

Budget What You Can Realistically Buy Typical Buyer
Under $500/mo Low-cost managed SEO/AI visibility, software-led tracking, audits or modular execution Small business, early-stage team, agency testing the channel
$500-$2,500/mo Done-with-you or smaller managed SEO+GEO programs with content and basic AI visibility measurement SMB, early SaaS, focused niche business
$2,500-$7,500/mo Broader SEO+GEO execution, more content, technical work, authority and account support Growth company with an established organic channel
$8,000-$15,000+/mo Full-service B2B/enterprise GEO, content, technical, third-party authority, measurement and senior strategy Mid-market and enterprise teams
Custom / $15K+ Enterprise AI-search strategy, multi-market programs, bespoke measurement and revenue attribution Complex enterprise with significant organic and brand investment

Citedly's own pricing sits below most full-service agency retainers because the service is productized around Query Intelligence, implementation and ongoing AI visibility for growing businesses rather than enterprise consulting overhead.

Citedly pricing: Starter $299/month, Growth $499/month, Authority $799/month, with custom Enterprise scopes.

The Hidden Costs to Check Before Comparing GEO Quotes

Two providers can quote the same monthly number and still create very different total costs. Before you compare proposals, ask what sits outside the headline rate.

  • Is AI visibility tracking included, or do you need a separate software subscription?

  • How many prompts, engines, markets or locations are actually tracked?

  • Does the provider write and publish content, or only provide briefs and recommendations?

  • Are technical fixes implemented or merely reported?

  • Are digital PR, third-party mentions, directories or list placements included?

  • Does the plan include schema/entity work and crawler-access fixes?

  • Is Reddit/community work included, excluded or treated as a separate service?

  • Are design, development and CMS publishing billed separately?

  • Is there a minimum term, setup fee or required quarterly prepayment?

  • Does the provider report citations only, or also brand mentions, recommendation share and revenue influence?

If you are comparing a platform with an agency, our broader GEO cost guide explains why software, consulting and done-for-you execution should be budgeted differently.

How to Compare AI SEO / GEO Providers Without Buying the Wrong Thing

Price should come after scope. The fastest way to evaluate a provider is to ask what happens after they show you a visibility gap.

  • If ChatGPT recommends a competitor instead, who diagnoses why?

  • If the problem is a missing comparison or service page, who writes and publishes it?

  • If the problem is weak third-party evidence, who builds the mentions or authority?

  • If the problem is technical crawlability or schema, who implements the fix?

  • If the model describes your company incorrectly, who corrects the entity signals?

  • How often are the same buyer prompts re-tested after changes?

  • Can the provider show whether improvement came from a citation, a mention, a recommendation or simply more AI referral traffic?

That distinction is why Citedly measures AI citations and brand mentions separately. A page can be cited while the brand is absent from the answer, which is a very different commercial outcome.

Where Citedly Fits in This Pricing Landscape

Citedly is positioned as a productized done-for-you AI visibility service rather than an enterprise strategy consultancy or a tracking-only platform. The work starts with Query Intelligence: mapping the real questions buyers ask, identifying which competitors and sources AI engines surface, and turning those gaps into specific execution.

That execution can include page creation and optimization, technical visibility fixes, entity/schema work, third-party authority signals and repeated testing across AI engines. The aim is not simply to tell a company that it is invisible. It is to change the evidence AI systems have available when they decide who to cite, mention and recommend.

Citedly Plan Price Best Fit
Starter $299/month Small business or focused brand starting AI visibility work
Growth $499/month Growing company that needs broader query coverage and execution
Authority $799/month Brand competing across more queries and needing stronger authority/visibility work
Enterprise Custom Larger or more complex multi-market / high-volume programs

Frequently asked questions

How much does AI visibility optimization cost?

In Citedly's 12-provider benchmark, directly comparable published monthly starting prices ranged from $99 to $15,000. The spread reflects very different scopes, from low-cost managed SEO + AI tracking to enterprise AI-search strategy.

What is the average cost of GEO services?

There is no clean universal average because audits, software, content programs and full-service GEO are different products. Among six providers in this sample with comparable published USD monthly starting prices, the median was $1,750/month.

Why do some GEO agencies cost $500 while others cost $10,000+?

The difference is usually ownership and scope. Lower-cost services may focus on tracking, content production or a defined audit. Higher-cost programs may include technical implementation, research, digital PR, third-party authority, enterprise measurement, multiple markets and senior strategy.

Do I need a GEO platform and an agency?

Not always. Some agencies include their own AI visibility software or prompt tracking, while others require a separate tool. Ask whether monitoring, prompt limits and implementation are included in the quoted price.

Is AI SEO pricing different from traditional SEO pricing?

Often the same retainer now covers both. Several providers in this benchmark bundle AI-search optimization into broader SEO work because crawlability, content, authority and technical implementation support both traditional search and LLM visibility.

Which GEO providers publish their prices?

In this Citedly benchmark, PikaSEO, Embarque, Ranked.ai, Boulder SEO Marketing, 1Digital Agency, iPullRank, Omniscient Digital and Blogtec publish a usable rate or starting point. SEOValley, Directive, Siege Media and First Page Sage do not publish a simple own-service starting rate for the GEO engagement we reviewed.

Is the cheapest GEO provider the best value?

Not necessarily. A lower-cost plan can be excellent if you already have people who can implement recommendations. If you need research, content, technical work, authority building and measurement done for you, a higher-priced program may actually replace several separate costs.
